GenImg ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the GenImg mobile application (the "App") available on the Apple App Store.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Images, Photos, & Text Prompts

When you use GenImg's features — including AI Image Generation, Background Removal, 4K Upscaling, and Object Eraser — you may upload images or provide text prompts. These inputs are:

  • Processed solely for the purpose of delivering the requested AI-powered service (e.g., background removal, upscaling, or generation).
  • Not used for facial recognition, biometric analysis, or training our own machine learning models.
  • Transmitted securely via encrypted HTTPS connections to our processing servers.

1.2 Device Information

We may automatically collect certain device-level information, including:

  • Device model and iOS version (for crash reporting and compatibility).
  • Unique device identifiers for authentication and account management.
  • App version and build number.

1.3 Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage data to improve the App experience, including:

  • Feature usage frequency (e.g., how often you use the Upscaler vs. the Eraser).
  • Session duration and app performance metrics.
  • Crash logs and error reports.

1.4 Account Information

When you sign in using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In, we receive basic profile information including your name and email address. This is used solely for account identification and support purposes.

2. Data Retention

Images are processed securely via encrypted APIs and are deleted from our active servers within 24 hours of generation.

Generated images may be stored on our cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Storage and/or Cloudflare R2) for the purpose of maintaining your image gallery within the App. You may delete individual images at any time through the App, and they will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

Account-level data (email, subscription status, credit balance) is retained for as long as your account remains active. Upon account deletion, all data is purged within 30 days.

3. Third-Party Services

We share limited data with trusted third-party services to operate the App:

  • AI Processing APIs: Your images and text prompts are sent to Google (via the Gemini API) for generation and editing purposes. Google processes this data in accordance with their privacy policies and does not use your personal prompts or images to train their foundational models. Data is not retained by the AI provider beyond the processing session.
  • Apple StoreKit / RevenueCat:Payment and subscription data is handled entirely by Apple's in-app purchase system and RevenueCat. We do not store credit card numbers or financial data.
  • Firebase / Google Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting to help us improve app stability and performance.
  • Google Cloud & Cloudflare R2: Cloud storage and content delivery for generated images.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • All data transmissions use TLS/SSL encryption (HTTPS).
  • API keys and tokens are stored securely using Cloudflare's secret management infrastructure.
  • User authentication tokens are signed and validated on every request.
  • Server infrastructure is hosted on Cloudflare's global edge network with built-in DDoS protection.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at bkagravat.apps@gmail.comor by using the "Delete Account" option within the App settings.
  • Exportyour generated images by saving them to your device's photo library.
  • Opt outof analytics data collection through your device's privacy settings.

6. Children's Privacy

GenImg is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete such information.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to such transfers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for cross-border data transfers.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App and on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
